Welcome to my email newsletter 'Never not [thinking about] running' - a weekly newsletter about running and mental health. If you haven't subscribed yet and you're not sure whether you really want to receive an e-mail from me on every Tuesday, have a look at the archive. It’s hopefully always something new in the bag. I also look forward to your opinions on the topics discussed here. Feel free to contact me by e-mail or in the comments. Today’s newsletter is about… ah have a look for yourself.
That was an interesting experience. I was really pissed off last night. I wanted to prepare the whole topic as a video for the newsletter and wrote the voiceover first. When I filmed the whole thing this morning, I came home and was totally sorted and had a plan. That felt really good and that's also the nice thing for me as the author of the newsletter. The fact that you always find new solutions by working on topics.
For me, this means recovering until the weekend, then continuing with my training plan and if I have another setback, I will seriously consider not running the UTMB.
Running
Tuesday 15k easy. Then felt sick. Then all good again. Friday split the long run into two sessions. One run with 7k and one with 13k increased pace. Saturday another very easy 10k run. Sick again on Sunday. Legs felt pretty fine, when I’m running, but the rest is kind of out of order.
You can find all updates on my training plan for UTMB Obernai here.

Damn, it sucks you had another setback. But the vid turned out super nice! Very "real"...
Sorry to hear you feel sick. Take care of yourself. Hope you feel better soon!
